Lauri Lewis?  Never heard of her.

I'm a freelance 2D animation artist living in downtown Toronto. Currently, I am working on a pitch book but am still available for freelance employment.

Since graduating from Max the Mutt's animation program in May of 2011, I interned at Chuck Gammage Animation Studio.  I've had a variety of freelance gigs, including storyboarding and animating on the film Get Squirrely, designing props and effects for Madea's Kids, and designing logos for a hip-hop clothing start up.

In February of 2012, I co-founded the costumed life drawing group Toons On Tap with my partner-in-crime Jeremy Cardarelli and event photographer Jeffrey Danyleyko.  In addition, the three of us brought Dr. Sketchy's cabaret life drawing back to Toronto.

In my spare time, watch way too much reality television and like to lift heavy things up and down.

I hosted the Iron Pencil art battle at TAAFI's Welcome to the Animation Industry Party.  Read my article on the TAAFI blog here.

The children's film I assisted on, Hoggie and Snip, has been screening in festivals worldwide where it has won the Orson Welles Award for Animated Film at the California Film Awards and  was nominated for second place at the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy.  Watch it on IndieFlix!
