Two minute gesture
It was week two of my Fantasy Figure Sketch night at the Artists 25 studio. I was asked how long I would be running weekly life drawing, and the answer if until I run out of fantasy themes.
Alanna Lesley modeled as a regal warrior. As the night went on, I imagined her features as even more elfin. Then, when she posed with an ornate hand mirror, I imagined her as a sheep creature admiring it’s own reflection.
All drawings are Derwent drawing pencil on newsprint.
