Five minute gesture
Yesterday, Etienne Buxton celebrated the 10 year anniversary of his art modelling career. I have had the privilege of working with Etienne during my Toons On Tap days, and drawing him virtually during the pandemic. I have drawn dozens of models over the years, but Etienne is one of the few I can call a muse.
All drawings are Derwent drawing pencil on newsprint.

Five minute gesture
At this point, you can start to see tiny blood splatters on the newsprint. Strangely, I felt proud that my fingers have started to blister from work, even if it does muddy up the pages.
