Three minute gestures

Last night, I spent Canada Day at home drawing Georgie Leahy at Gallery Girls LA. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with filming myself as I do my gesture sketches. I’m pretty comfortable drawing with people watching, but drawing on camera makes me feel surprisingly self conscious.

All drawings are done with chocolate Derwent drawing pencil on newsprint.
